The information you entered for the purpose of signup, etc. is transferred to a separate DB after the purpose of input is fulfilled (a separate document box if the information is in paper form). The information is stored for a set period of time according to the reasons for information protection specified by the Company’s internal policy and other relevant statutes, and then destroyed.
Personal information transferred to a separate DB is not used for purposes other than retention unless specified otherwise by the law.
ο Destruction Method - Personal information saved in an electronic file is deleted using a technical method that disables reproduction of the record.
- Personal information in paper form is destroyed using a shredder or through incineration.
■ Personal Information Provision: In principle, the Company does not provide customers’ personal information to external parties.
Exceptions apply to the following cases, however: - In case users have agreed to the information provision in advance - If required by the statute or requested by an investigative agency for the purpose of investigation according to a procedure and in the method specified by the statute
■ Consignment of Personal Information Collected for Handling: The Company does not entrust your information to an external company without your consent.
If the need arises in the future, the Company will notify you of the details of the consigned operation and obtain prior consent from you, if necessary. ■ Rights of Users and Their Legal Representatives and Method of Exercising the Rights: A user and his or her legal representative can check and modify his or her personal information or that of the child aged 14 years or less under legal representation, or request cancellation of the user’s signup. Click “Change Personal Information (or “Modify Member Information”) to check and modify the personal information of a user or a child aged 14 years or less, followed by “Withdraw Signup” to cancel signup (withdraw consent). The user authentication process is then completed. Or, contact the chief information officer in writing, by phone, or through e-mail, and your request will be handled immediately. In case you request correction of an error in your personal information, the personal information will be neither used nor provided to a third party until the correction is completed.
In addition, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, the correction result will be notified to the third party without delay so as to ensure correction in the information provided. The Company handles the personal information canceled or deleted through a request of the respective user or his or her legal representative according to the specifications in the “Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information Collected by the Company” and ensures that the personal information is neither accessed nor used for other purposes.
